Bert Kops made an impact in wrestling arenas around the world claiming around 30 titles. He is one of the greatest wrestlers in the Netherlands. In the past he trained with Anton Geesink, Chris Dolman, Jan van de Paverd, John Bluming and Wim Ruska. All big names and pioneers of martial arts in the Netherlands. Today Bert Kops trains champions and aspirants who want to become big in MMA. Like MMA fighter Gegard Mousasi, the Bellator Middleweight Champion.

Joey Berkenbosch stepped in to replace Diego Gonzalez in the final week, to face Ikram Aliskerov in the main card of Brave 14. Berkenbosch trains at Kops Gym under Bert Kops and trains alongside some of the toughest fighters from the Netherlands including the Bellator Middleweight champion, Gegard Mousasi. His opponent Ikram Aliskerov has an undefeated professional record and is trained by Emiragaev Esedulla who is one of the most respected coaches in Dagestan.

The bout has the potential to redefine the landscape of the middleweight division of Brave Combat Federation. Brave 14 marks the first time Bert Kops is featuring his prospect in Brave Combat Federation. Also for fight fans, this gives an opportunity to see the Kops Gym take on Champions Fight Team from Dagestan, Russia. This marks the ultimate showdown between wrestling supremacy against the Sambo specialists.
