Abu Dhabi Warriors takes place tonight headlined by two Brits

Some of the best MMA fighters from across the world are preparing to battle it out at the fifth edition of Abu Dhabi Warriors®, which is set to take place in Abu Dhabi on 26th January at Mubadala Arena, Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi. Middle East’s premier MMA fighting championship is making a comeback after 2 years.

Abu Dhabi Warriors® fight card is stacked with some interesting fights; the main event features Britain’s ‘Strongest Man’ and UFC veteran, Oli Thompson [18 wins, 10 losses] against Team Nogueira Dubai’s Roman Wehbe [7 wins, 6 losses]. The co-main event will see the giant Chi Lewis-Parry [6 wins, 0 losses] – standing at 6’10” – with the fastest KO in Glory’s history (25 sec) going head-to-head against Desert Force heavyweight champion Ibrahim El Sawi [5 wins, 5 losses].

Emirati fighter, Ahmed Al Darmaki [0 wins, 4 losses], will make his third appearance in Abu Dhabi Warriors after heroic performances in his two previous appearances in 2015 and 2016. Al Darmaki has been busy preparing for his fight under the guidance of world-renowned coaches, hoping to secure his first title in ADW.
