An appearance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series will open doors for fighters to compete in other promotions. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a volcanic fighter looking to continue his explosive climb up the bantamweight ladder at Bellator 215 on February 15. A professional since January 2012 and representing Boss MMA, Toby Misech owns a 10-5 record in 15 career bouts as a professional comprised of seven knockouts and three decisions. Misech appeared on week four of season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2018. He is currently 1-0 under the Bellator MMA banner.
In his MMA debut at Pro Elite 3, he defeated Steven Saito via TKO in the first round. Misech knocked out Edward Matsuura in round two at Destiny MMA Unleashed. He defeated Tyler Kahihikolo at UIC 9 Never Give Up the Fight. Then at Pacific Xtreme Combat 36, Misech knocked out Sung Hwan Cho in the third round. He also knocked out Japan’s Yusuke Yachi in the second round at Pacific Xtreme Combat 38. Misech defeated Josey Wells via unanimous decision at Rumble World Entertainment Just Scrap. At Destiny MMA Na Koa 9, he defeated Gabriel Solorio via TKO in the first round. Misech defeated Kelli Palencia via unanimous decision at RWE Just Scrap. In his only appearance with Alaska Fighting Championship, he faced Jared Mazurek in the main event of AFC 130 and defeated him via TKO in the fourth round.
For his debut outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 212, Misech faced Edward Thommes in his home country of Hawaii and defeated him via TKO in the third round. The victory also earned him his seventh knockout victory as a professional. It was also Misech’s first victory under the Bellator MMA banner. In his second appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 215 on February 15, he will face Brazil’s Eduardo Dantas in a bantamweight battle. You can catch this contest on Paramount Network.
