A Blinding Flash featuring UFC fighter Jared Gordon

Sometimes, a fighter gains greater success by switching up their scenery. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a dangerous eastern transplant looking to shine his light at UFC On ESPN 3 on June 29 in the UFC’S return to the twin cities for the first time since 2012. A professional since February 2011 and representing Roufusport, Jared Gordon owns a 14-3 record in 17 career bouts as a professional comprised of six knockouts, six decisions and two submissions. Prior to making his debut appearance with the UFC in 2017, Gordon competed with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He was also featured on the second season of Dana White’s Looking for a Fight. In his MMA debut, he submitted Anthony D’agostino via rear naked choke in the second round. Gordon defeated his next five opponents that included victories over Robert Fabrizi and Alejandro Roman. Then at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 28, he defeated Johnson Jajoute via unanimous decision. Gordon also defeated Corey Bleaken via unanimous decision at CFFC 44. At CFFC 45 he defeated Jay Coleman via TKO in the first round. Gordon knocked out Anthony Morrison in round one in the headliner of CFFC 59. In his next appearance with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 60, he tapped out Dawond Pickney via rear naked choke in round two. For his final outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships Gordon faced Bill Algeo in the co-main event of CFFC 63 and defeated via unanimous decision. In his debut outing with the UFC at UFN 112, he defeated Michel Quinones via TKO in the second round. For his second outing with the UFC at UFN 119 Gordon faced Hacran Dias in his home nation of Brazil and defeated him via unanimous decision to secure back to back victories with the UFC. The win also earned Gordon the sixth decision victory of his professional career. At UFC On ESPN 3 on June 29, he will face Dan Moret in a lightweight bout. Good luck Jared!
