Throughout their 104 events, newcomers have garnered a coveted place in Cage Warriors lore. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to two of promotion’s top newcomers looking to leave a trail of torrid destruction in their quest for a Cage Warriors golden strap.

Adam Wilson

A professional since November 2017 and representing Next Generation Liverpool under the steady hand of head coach Paul Rimmer, Adam Wilson owns a perfect 3-0 record comprised of two decisions and one knockout. Wilson has competed with Shinobi FC, ICE FC and Cage Warriors. He is currently 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. In his MMA debut at ICE FC 19, he defeated Tom Pedreno via decision. In his only appearance with Shinobi FC at Cage Warriors Academy Northwest 4 Wilson defeated Hughie O’ Rourke in the first round. For his debut outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 101 in Liverpool, he defeated Harry Ettridge via unanimous decision to secure his first win under the Cage Warriors banner and also extended his perfect streak to three to begin his professional career in the process. The victory also earned Wilson the second decision win of his professional career. Unbeaten at 3-0 and having one of the top gyms in Europe coupled with some top-level talents like Chris Fishgold makes Wilson one of the bantamweight division’s dark horses!

Oban Elliott

A professional since March 2019 and representing Impact Gym, Oban Elliott owns a perfect 2-0 record comprised of one submission and one knockout. Elliott has finished both of his professional victories. In his MMA debut at Cage Warriors Academy Wales 3, he submitted Brett Hassett in the second round via kimura. For his debut outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 104 in Cardiff Elliott defeated France’s Skikem Bouali via TKO in the first round to earn the first knockout victory of his professional and also scored his first win under the Cage Warriors banner in the process. At 2-o, Elliott is just beginning to exercise his devilish intent!
