Tickets on sale for Saturday, June 22 event at The SSE Wembley Arena
London, UK – Bellator MMA today confirmed that Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards (7-0) and Jonathan “Mutant” Bosuku (7-4) will face off in a highly-anticipated middleweight bout at Bellator London: Mousasi vs. Lovato Jr, which takes place at The SSE Arena, Wembley on Saturday, June 22.
Following a highlight reel knockout victory in his last fight against Falco Neto at Bellator Birmingham: Primus vs. Wilde, Fabian Edwards, who fights out of Team Renegade in Birmingham, will be looking to extend his winning run to eight when he meets promotional debutant Jonathan Bosuku inside the Bellator cage.
Middleweight prospect Fabian Edwards has established himself as one of the most exciting fighters on the Bellator roster and he will once again put his undefeated professional record on the line when he makes his third appearance of 2019 at Bellator London.
Edwards’ confidence will be sky-high following his explosive TKO victory in his last fight, a win which sent shockwaves around the Bellator middleweight division. Off the back of that performance, the 26-year-old has been rewarded with a new multi-fight Bellator contract, as he continues to make a name for himself in the sport.
Hoping to silence the home crowd on the evening will be Bellator debutant Jonathan Bosuku, who fights out of France. 23-year-old Bosuku joins Bellator from MMA promotion Danish MMA Night and comes into the fight off the back of a five-fight win streak. The French athlete, known for his explosive power, will be looking to stop Edwards in his tracks and show that he belongs at this level.
