The Cage Warriors 107 card has begun to take shape, with a number of big names just announced for September 28th at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre.
In what is already a massive year for Liverpool sport, Cage Warriors are returning to the fighting city with big plans!
Exciting heavyweight prospect Tom Aspinall – training partner to UFC Welterweight Darren Till and former sparring partner to British boxing superstar Tyson Fury – will return to the cage for the first time since his memorable last appearance, when a blocked leg kick forced his opponent Sofiane Boukichou to the canvas with a broken leg.
Now, the North-West star is hell-bent on putting on a performance which will solidify his status as one of the top heavyweight names to watch in Europe.
Liverpool names Tim Barnett, Elliott Jenkins, Anthony O’Connor and Adam Ventre will also look to bring home wins for the city’s fans on September 28th. Coming into CW107 with two wins already this year, Barnett is back on fine form and surging toward the top of the lightweight division with the title in his sights.
Ventre will look to get back in the win column in an incredibly exciting match up that Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan is promising to be a crowd pleaser.
“We know one thing is for certain every time we return to Liverpool – that the crowd will get behind their own and raise the roof off the arena,” says Boylan. “These are some of the most passionate fans in all of Europe and they make our Liverpool events a night to remember every single time.
“We’ve got fights in the pipeline for CW107 that we guarantee will have the city talking.”
Manchester’s Sam Spencer and Pietro Menga will also walk out on September 28th – with Spencer looking to continue his successful start to the year and Menga on make an exciting Cage Warriors debut in the flyweight division.
Other names to be announced are flyweight Liam Gittins, who impressed with a big TKO win in his last Liverpool appearance, and exciting UK welterweight Adam Proctor. With 10 wins against just 1 loss since his pro debut in 2014, ‘The Love Doctor’ is the very definition of a fast-rising prospect and has been turning heads at an increasing rate with wins over Sam Boult, Nathan Jones and Angelo Rubino.
