CW106: Night of Champions weigh-in results

Cage Warriors 106: Night of Champions – the most stacked card in the promotion’s history – is less than 24 hours away. This afternoon, many of Cage Warriors’ biggest names from across the continent met in London to weigh in for tomorrow night’s fights at the Eventim Apollo.

In the main event, welterweight champion Ross Houston (169.6lbs) will take on Interim champion Nicolas Dalby (170lbs) to unify the belt. The war of words that has transpired over the last few weeks continued into the weigh-in room today, with the men having to be separated at the scales.

It was one of the most intense stare-downs Cage Warriors have seen in recent years, and brought about an energy that’s set to come to a climax on fight fight.

There are five other title fights on the card, all of which will go ahead with every fighter making championship weight.

In the lightweight division, the vacant title formerly held by Conor McGregor is on the line when dangerous finishers Jai Herbert (155lbs) and Jack Grant (155lbs) – both bang on the championship weight limit – meet in what’s widely regarded as the most exciting fight in European MMA right now. Middleweight Champion James Webb (184.5lbs) will defend his belt against Nathias Frederick (183.6lbs), and Featherweight Champion Dean Trueman (144.4lbs) against UFC veteran Mads Burnell (144.5lbs).

Vacant belts are up for grabs in the flyweight and light-heavyweight divisions, when Sam Creasey (123.8lbs) meets Samir Faiddine (125lbs) and London prospect Modestas Bukauskas (203lbs) takes on Norwegian national superstar Marthin Hamlet (204.4lbs).

Cage Warriors 106: Night of Champions takes place at the iconic Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London on Saturday night, June 29th. Doors open at 3PM, with the Pro Prelims underway at 4.15PM and the Main Card 9PM, both live on UFC Fight Pass.
