George Smith
A professional since July 2018 and representing SBG Manchester, George Smith owns a 2-1 record in three career bouts as a professional comprised of one knockout and one submission. Smith has finished both of his professional victories and has spent his entire professional tenure with Almighty Fighting Championship thus far. In his debut appearance with Almighty Fighting Championship at Almighty FC 11, he faced Ryan Hewston and knocked him out in the first round to secure his first victory under the Almighty FC banner. Smith also scored the first knockout win of his professional career in the process. For his second outing with Almighty Fighting Championship at Almighty FC 13, he faced Henrik Lie and submitted him via brabo choke in the first round to earn back to back wins with Almighty Fighting Championship. The win also earned Smith the first submission victory of his professional career. With both of his wins not making it past the first round, Smith is one prospect whose skyrocketing trajectory knows no boundaries!
Paul Hughes
A professional since February 2017 and representing Fight Academy Ireland, Paul Hughes owns a 2-0 record with both of his professional wins coming via knockout. Hughes has competed with BAMMA and Cage Conflict and has managed to finish both of his wins. In his MMA debut at BAMMA 28, he defeated Poland’s Adam Gustab via TKO in the first round to get his first and only win under the BAMMA banner. At Cage Conflict 1 Hughes defeated Stephen O’ Neil in round one to earn the second knockout victory of his professional career. With two first-round finishes to his credit, it just goes to show why Hughes is such a dangerous force!
