In MMA, there is always someone looking to play spoiler in their opponent’s home nation. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a keen-eyed shark looking to become Bellator MMA’S next big fish in their European market with a win in the headliner of Bellator Dublin on September 27. A professional since May 2012 and representing Team Fish Tank under the watchful eye of head coach Andrew Fisher, Cal Ellenor owns an 8-2 record in 10 career bouts as a professional comprised of six submissions and two knockouts. Pacino has managed to finish all eight of his professional victories. He has competed with various promotions around the globe including EFC and ACB.

In his MMA debut at Supremacy Fight Challenge 6, he submitted Nathan Thompson in the first round. Pacino also defeated Will Cooper via TKO in round one at ICE FC 16. Then at On Top Weekender, he faced Aidan Stephen and went on to tap him out in the third round. Pacino also submitted Declan Williams via rear-naked choke in round one at ACB 54 Supersonic. At Made 4 the Cage 24 Throwdown he faced John Spencer and defeated him via TKO in the first round. Pacino tapped out Espen Koltvelt in the first round via rear-naked choke at Olympus FC 2. He also submitted Faeez Jacobs in round one at EFC 68.

In his debut appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator Newcastle, Pacino faced knockout artist Nathan Greyson and submitted him via rear-naked choke in round one to get his first win under the Bellator MMA banner. The win also earned him the sixth submission victory of his professional career. For the main event of Bellator Dublin on September 27 Pacino will face James Gallagher in a bantamweight contest.
