Across the Pond Profile: Warrior Xtreme fighter Jesse Bazzi

Michigan and midwestern MMA appear to be joined at the hip for the success of talents like UFC veteran Bobby Nash and many other big stagers. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a grinder ready to spearhead the midwestern MMA revolution. A professional since June 2015 and representing Michigan Top Team, Jesse Bazzi owns an 11-6 record in 17 career bouts as a professional comprised of six submissions and five decisions. Bazzi has competed with various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance and Bellator MMA.

In his MMA debut at Total Warrior Combat 27, he defeated Anthony Walker via unanimous decision. Bazzi also defeated Daryl Thompson at Triple X Cage fighting Legends 6 via unanimous decision. He defeated his next two opponents via submission in Shawn Mack and Darryol Humphrey. Then at King Of the Cage Equalizer, Bazzi faced Tim Sosa and defeated him via split decision. At WXC 67 Out Cold he defeated Jared Scoggins via unanimous decision. Bazzi also defeated Shawn Rosecrans via unanimous decision at Knock Out Promotions 56. At CLIP Motor City Cagefights 3 he faced Tim Eschtruth and went on to tap him out in the second round. Bazzi also tapped out Justin Street in the fifth round via rear naked choke at CLIP Motor City Cagefights 4. In his lone appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 221, he faced Joey Diehl and managed to defeat him via unanimous decision to earn his fifth decision win as a professional.

In the co-main event of Warrior Wednesday 6, Bazzi faced Josh Smith and went on to submit him in the second round. The win also earned Bazzi the sixth submission victory of his professional career diverse gritty and possessing the heart of a wolverine, Bazzi is one pulse pounder who never disappoints when to comes to the deliverance of bell to bell action that MMA fans will forever and always crave!
