Across the Pond Profile: Invicta FC fighters Chantel Coates and Josee Storts

Invicta Fighting Championships has launched the career of many a female fighter ever since they first graced the stage all the way back to their maiden voyage at Invicta FC 1 with the likes of grapplerĀ Andrea LeeĀ and The Ultimate Fighter season 26 alumniĀ Deanna BennettĀ having come up through their ranks. In today’s episode ofĀ Across The Pond,Ā you will be introduced to two raging throwers of pure fire looking to douse their foes in a bath of cold ice and show Invicta FC how dangerous the heat can truly get once they manage to get into their respective grooves.

Chantel Coates

A professional since December 2018 and representingĀ Sagasu Mixed Martial Arts, Chantel CoatesĀ owns a 1-1 record with her lone victory as a professional coming via knockout. Coates has spent her entire professional tenure under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. In her MMA debut at Invicta FC 33, she faced Ashlynn KleinbeckĀ and managed to knock her out in the first round to earn her first victory under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. Coates also scored the first knockout win of her professional career in the process. Then at Phoenix Rising 2, she faced Florre HaniĀ and defeated her via split decision to earn her second Invicta FC win. The victory also earned Coates the first decision win of her professional career. The heat of battle is just beginning for this sniper of a solider!

Josee Storts

A professional since June 2019 and representingĀ Springfield Fight Club, Josee StortsĀ owns a 2-0 record with both of her professional wins coming via submission. Storts has managed to finish both of her wins and is currently 1-0 under the Invicta FC banner. In her MMA debut, she submittedĀ Ashlynn KleinbeckĀ via triangle choke in round two. Storts also tapped outĀ Helen LuceroĀ in the first round via triangle armbar at Phoenix Rising 2. Skulls are bound to break when this grappler ensnares you in her web!
