He also defeated Eduardo Bustillos via TKO in the first round at Bellator 143. At Bellator 162 Garcia faced Ronnie Lawrence and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. He defeated Abel Callum at Jackson-Wink Fight Night 4 via unanimous decision to earn his third decision win as a professional. At Jackson-Wink Fight Night 5 Garcia faced Andrew Whitney and managed to defeat him via TKO in the first round.
At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series nine, he faced Desmond Torres and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one. The win also earned Garcia the seventh knockout victory of his professional.
