Leading mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA today revealed it will be returning to The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Saturday, November 23, with a host of unmissable fights, stacked with homegrown talent set to feature on the card.

Bellator London will include a thrilling main card middleweight bout between Birmingham’s Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards (8-0) and local London fighter Mike “Sea Bass” Shipman (13-2). Joining them on the main card is a lightweight bout between Terry “The Dominator” Brazier (11-2) and Denmark’s Søren “The True Viking” Bak (13-1), who will be making his Bellator debut. Further marquee bout announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

Tickets to Bellator London go on sale Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. BST and can be purchased online from axs.com/uk and Bellator.com.

Bellator London marks the sixth Bellator European Series event of 2019 and will air LIVE at 10 p.m. GMT on Channel 5 in the UK. In the U.S., the event will stream live on the Bellator Mobile App at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT.

Meanwhile, on the preliminary card, London’s Charlie Leary (16-10-1) will face Birmingham’s Tim “The Experiment” Wilde (12-4) in a lightweight matchup. Elsewhere, Birmingham’s Aiden Lee (7-4) meets Poland’s Damian Frankiewicz (9-2) in a featherweight bout, while Scotland’s Robert “The Hammer” Whiteford (15-4), who will be making his promotional debut for Bellator, comes up against Daniel Crawford (10-3).

Joining them on the card are two lightweight bouts between London Shootfighters prospect Alfie Davis (12-3) and Ireland’s Myles “Magic” Price (11-7), and an Anglo clash between Akonne Wanliss (3-1) and Tom “K9” Green (13-3). Additionally, London’s Walter “The Sniper” Gahadza (18-4) is set to meet Welsh fighter Lewis “The Foot” Long (16-5) in a welterweight bout, while undefeated bantamweight prospect Raphael Uchegbu (1-0) takes on Bellator newcomer Shane Campbell in his professional debut.

Middleweight prospect Fabian Edwards will make his fourth appearance of 2019 having firmly established himself as one of Bellator’s rising stars. Edwards, who trains at Team Renegade in Birmingham, boasts an 8-0 record that includes six stoppages; his latest win being a dominant unanimous decision victory over Jonathan Bosuku at Bellator London: Mousasi vs. Lovato Jr. Edwards’s confidence will be sky high as he heads into fight as he looks to maintain his undefeated record with another impressive win.

Fighting in his hometown for the second time in 2019 and hoping to put an end to Edwards’ winning streak is London Shootfighters star, Mike Shipman. Though Shipman’s 13-fight win streak came to an end earlier this year, many believe the loss, the first of his Bellator career, will only make him better. Shipman’s experience and near-perfect record make him a force to be reckoned with. With Shipman and Edwards vying for the top spot in the middleweight division, this matchup is set to be an explosive one.

Meanwhile, Terry Brazier will make his third appearance for Bellator when he returns to London, the city which earlier this year saw him return to his winning ways, defeating Alessandro Botti with a comfortable third-round submission. The Windsor-based fighter and former paratrooper achieved two world titles under the BAMMA promotion before signing with Bellator. A win over Søren Bak will keep Brazier on his upwards trajectory and bring him closer to a title shot under the Bellator banner.

Standing in his way and hoping to silence the home crowd on the night will be Bellator debutant Søren Bak, who fights out of Denmark. The 27-year-old departs Cage Warriors as their current lightweight and interim featherweight champion to join Bellator. The Danish fighter has star potential and will be hoping to add another win to his impressive record which includes an array of wins by submission and KO/TKO.
