McAleenan defeatedΒ Alex DavidsonΒ via TKO in round two in the main event of Headhunters FC. Then at Cage Legacy 5, he facedΒ Adam GustabΒ and knocked him out in the second round. McAleenan tapped out Niall Smith in round two via arm-triangle choke in the main event of Akuma FC 11 to pick up his second submission victory as a professional. He defeated France’s Julian BouteixΒ in the first round at Cage Legacy 8 to earn the third knockout victory of his professional career.
For his next outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 110 on November 9, McAleenan will face the unbeatenΒ Jared SouthwellΒ in an affair at featherweight.
