Island Fights is home to some of the leading untapped talents from across the south like DWTNCS season two alumni Tyler Hill and UFC fighter Mike Davis. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an alpha dog whose bark of brutality has him baying at the door of the UFC. A professional since August 2015 and representing X3 Sports, Jared Gooden owns a 15-4 record in 19 career bouts as a professional comprised of six knockouts, five submissions and four decisions. Gooden has finished 11 of his 15 professional victories and has competed with Island Fights, Titan FC and Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his MMA debut at NFC 76, he submitted Bobby Tucker via rear-naked choke in the second round. Gooden also tapped out Brad Taylor in round three via armbar at Legacy FC 47. He defeated his next four foes that saw wins over Amir Dudovic and Nick Poythress. Then at NFC 89, Gooden faced Micah Miller and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. For his one and only outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 59, he faced Steven Newell and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Gooden defeated DWTNCS season two alumni Will Santiago Jr via TKO in the first round at Jackson Wink Fight Night 5.
