An appearance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series often leads to bigger and brighter pastures for many of an up and comer. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a queen of ice looking to freeze out the strawweight division in Invicta Fighting Championships as she continues to assert her authority over the division with a steady but firm hand. A professional since December 2016 and representing Team Zigano, Mallory Martin owns a 6-2 record in eight career bouts as a professional comprised of three decisions, two knockouts and one submission. Martin has competed with various promotions in her tenure as a professional including Invicta Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. She appeared on week nine of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019. She has earned a finish in three of her six professional victories.

In her MMA debut, Martin faced Hequin Lin and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. She defeated Tiffany Masters via TKO in the second round in her second outing with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 27. Then at LFA 38, Martin submitted Lindsey Williams via rear-naked choke in round two to pick up her sole submission win as a professional thus far. At Invicta FC 31 she defeatedΒ Ashley NicholsΒ via TKO in the third round to earn her second victory with the promotion. Martin also earned the second knockout win of her professional career in the process. For her appearance on DWTNCS 9, she facedΒ Italy’sΒ Micol DiSegniΒ and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision.

In her return to the Invicta Fighting Championships cage at Invicta FC 38, Martin faced Texas knockout artistΒ Cynthia ArceoΒ and defeated her via unanimous decision to capture the third decision win of her professional career. Foes would be very wise to stand clear of this queen of rocky mountain ice unless they want an avalanche of bone-chilling terror to rain down from the heavens upon them!
