Numerous LFA prospects have springboarded themselves to the big leagues’ thanks to memorable first impressions. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a midwestern drill hoping that the second time is indeed the charm with a showstopper of performance in route to a big-league call up in the headliner of LFA 82 on February 21. A professional since July 2018 and representing Chosen Few Gym, Alex PolizziΒ owns an undefeated 5-0 record comprised of three knockouts and two submissions. Prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance in June 2019 at LFA 70, Polizzi fought for Pure Fighting Championships and Chosen Few Fighting Championships. He has gone on to finish all five of his victories as a professional with the majority of those wins coming within the first two rounds and has yet to see the judges thus far in his career as a professional mixed martial artist. He has also competed with Final Fight Championship.

In hisΒ  MMA debut at Pure Fighting Championships 9, he facedΒ Jacquis WilliamsΒ and went on to defeat him via rear-naked choke in the first round. Polizzi also tapped out Jordan Seufzer in the second round at Chosen Few Fighting Championships 15 to pick up his second submission win as a professional. Then at Chosen Few Fighting Championships 16, he took onΒ Cedric Terrell SavageΒ and defeated him via TKO in round one. Polizzi also defeated Pierre Walters via TKO in the first round in his debut appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 70.

At Final Fight Championship 40 he faced Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season one alumni and two time veteran of the UFC Daniel Jolly and managed to defeat him via TKO in the first round. The win also earned Polizzi the third knockout victory of his professional career. At LFA 82 on February 21, he will faceΒ Jamal PougesΒ for the LFA light heavyweight title. Good luck Alex!
