Mixed martial arts is nothing short of an all-out highly contested chess match with one man attempting to outsmart and outduel his foe. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a hunter of the game both large and small in the MMA scene up north looking to take one giant leap as he continues to soak knowledge in like a sponge with never-ending limits of protentional at just 22 years young. A professional since November 2017 and representing Para Bellum MMA, Anthony Romero owns an undefeated 6-0 record comprised of four decisions, one knockout and one submission. Romero has spent the whole of his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist with King of the Cage and has gone on to finish two of the six victories he has earned thus far in his professional career with both of those finishes within the three rounds and four of the six wins overall having gone the full three rounds.
In his promotional and MMA debut at King of the Cage Ultimate Mix, he faced Peter San Antonio and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Romero also defeated Sean Felton via unanimous decision at King of the Cage Prevail. Then at King of the Cage Territorial Conflict, he took on Elijah Harris and submitted him via rear-naked choke in the third round to earn his lone submission win as a professional thus far. At King of the Cage In the Mix Romero defeated Joshua Hill via unanimous decision. He also defeated Juan Roman at King of the Cage Combat Zone via TKO in the first round to pick up his first and only knockout victory as a professional thus far.
For his next outing with King of the Cage at KOTC Showtime 2, he defeated Troy Wittman via unanimous decision. The victory also secured Romero the fourth decision win of his professional career. At 6-0 this hammer of maple leaves is sending a cold chill down the back of everyone he has frozen over!
