Across the Pond Profile: Cage Fury Fighting Championships fighter Joey Pierotti

CFFC has had multi promotional representatives on DWTNCS like season two alumni Shawn Teed and Joseph Lowry. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a howling husky ready to show his bark and bite are well worth the price of admission. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2016 and representing Combat Sports and Fitness, Joey Pierotti owns a 12-2 record in 14 bouts as a pro comprised of six knockouts, five submissions and one decision. Pierotti has finished 11 of his 12 victories in his tenure as an MMA fighter thus far with only one of the 12 going all three rounds. He is 2-0 under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner and has also fought for many regional promotions in his home state of Washington.

In his MMA debut, he defeated Fay Bursell in the first round via rear-naked choke. Pierotti also defeated his next three opponents that included wins over Richard Brooks and Chris Evans. Then at Prime Fighting 9 he faced Jake Smith and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the third round. Pierotti tapped out Andy Nigretto in round two via arm-triangle choke. At Coga 58 summer showdown 4 he defeated Daniel Mcwilliams via TKO in the first round. Pierotti defeated Justin Gardener at Coga 59 Rumble on the Ridge 40 in the first round via keylock. He defeated Chris Dempsey via TKO in round one at Excite Fight Conquest of the Cage. Pierotti defeated Chris Ensley via TKO in the first round.

In his debut fight for Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 72, he took on David Mundell and defeated him via unanimous decision to pick up his first and only decision win as a professional. At CFFC 74 Pierotti knocked out Emmanuel Walo in the second round to earn the sixth knockout victory of his professional career along with back to back wins in CFFC. From the sound of the bell, this howler of a fighter is strictly in attack mode!
