Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Nate Richardson

If a fighter is willing to put in the work and embrace the MMA grind, the blood sweat and tears will all be worth it in the end. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a twin city Viking looking to pillage and plunder the LFA featherweight division with his knack for the knockout blitz the minute the referee utters the word go with heart hammering bell to bell action. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2012 and representing The Cellar Gym, Nate Richardson owns a 7-2 professional record in nine bouts comprised of four knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Richardson has finished six of his seven wins and has gone to the judge’s just once in his career as a pro-MMA fighter. Prior to making his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut in September 2019 at LFA 77, he fought for Legacy FC. He is currently 1-1 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner.

In his MMA debut, he submitted Dustin Smith in the first round. Richardson also defeated his next two opponents in Robert Katzfey and John Milledge. Then at Legacy FC 43, he took on Courtney Buck and knocked him out in the third round. Richardson defeated Kuchlong Kuchlong via split decision at Legacy FC 51. At Legacy FC 60 he defeated Nick Compton via TKO in the third round to pick up his third consecutive win with Legacy FC.

In his debut fight under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner at LFA 77, Richardson faced Matt Jones and went on to defeat him via TKO in the third round. The win earned Richardson the fourth knockout victory of his professional career along with win number one under the LFA banner. When it comes to knocking opponents out, Richardson is all-natural with his relentless and constant pressure on the knockout blitz from any and all directions with ruthless abandon!
