Across the Pond Profile: Algeo MMA and Kickboxing’s Bill Algeo

In the MMA world, a fighter should always remember where he or she got their start along with the people that helped water and plant the seed. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an east coast oak dishing and delivering his own thunderous brand of mob justice with a complex message of deliverance. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2012 and representing Algeo MMA and Kickboxing, Bill Algeo owns a 12-4 record as a professional in 16 bouts comprised of six submissions, three knockouts, and three decisions. Algeo appeared on episode one on the third season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has also fought for CFFC and Ring Of Combat. He has finished nine of his 12 victories during his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter thus far with only three of those wins lasting the full three rounds.

In his MMA debut, he submitted David Miller via arm-triangle choke in the first round. Algeo also tapped out his next three opponents that included wins over Myron Baker and Shane Manley. He defeated Joel Roberts via TKO in round three at CFFC 32, Then at CFFC 37, Algeo submitted Mike Pope in the first round via rear-naked choke. He defeated his next two foes via decision in Anthony Terrell and Jeff Lentz at CFFC 49 and CFFC 57 respectively. For his debut fight with Ring Of Combat at ROC 61, Algeo faced Tim Dooling and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round He defeated James Gonzalez via unanimous decision at ROC 63. Algeo knocked out Scott Heckman in the second round at ROC 65 to pick up his third knockout win as a professional.

In his next appearance with Ring Of Combat at ROC 67, he tapped out John de Jesus via rear-naked choke in the second round. The win earned Algeo the sixth submission victory of his professional career. Slick submission skills and a will forged in steel make this marksmen a tough oak to topple!
