Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Dakota Bush

Learning to come back when the odds are not in your favor is just a known fact of life in the MMA world. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a prowler of the jungle ready to issue a roar of unquestioned challenge to the lightweights of LFA and the show me state as he looks to set the ship back on course towards the top talents of the division at LFA 85 on July 17. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2016 and representing The Smith Pit, Dakota Bush owns a 6-2 professional record in eight bouts comprised of three submissions, one knockout, and two decisions. Bush has spent the majority of his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished four of his six victories thus far in his career and has also fought for multiple regional promotions in his home state of Missouri including Shamrock FC. He has gone the distance twice in his career.

In his MMA debut, Bush faced Issac Collazo and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. He defeated his next two opponents via decision in Cjay Hunter and Chris Petty. Bush tapped out Jose Martinez via rear-naked choke in the first round in his debut appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 21. At LFA 49 he submitted Patrick Rivera in round three via rear-naked choke. Then at LFA 60, Bush tapped out Jordin Hinnman in the first round via rear-naked choke. The win earned Bush the third submission victory of his professional career along with win number three under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance.

For his next promotional outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 85 on July 17, he will face the undefeated Jordan Leavitt in a clash between two up and coming prospects at lightweight. Good luck Dakota!
