For his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 30, he submitted Craig Wilkerson via rear-naked choke in the first round to pick up his fifth submission win as a professional,

In his second promotional appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 80, Wright faced Brazilian submission specialist Gabriel Checco and defeated him via TKO in the second round.
