A professional mixed martial artist since January 2019 and representing Gym O, Impa Kasanganay owns an undefeated 7-0 professional record comprised of five decisions and two submissions. Kasanganay earned his contract with the UFC on week two of season four of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020. He also appeared on week 10 on the third season of the show back in 2019 and has also fought for Island Fights and Legacy Fighting Alliance. In his MMA debut at 864 Fighting Championship, he took on Garett Fosdyck via split decision. Kasanganay also defeated Dahlen Willson via unanimous decision at Island Fights 53. Then at Island Fights 54, he tapped out John Lewis in the first round. At KOTC Rumble On The River 2 Kasanganay submitted Roger Pratcher via rear-naked choke in the first round. He defeated Devorious Tubbs via split decision in his one and only outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 71. On the final episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season three Kasanganay defeated knockout artist Kailan Hill via unanimous decision.

In the opening contest of DWTNCS week two of season four, he defeated Anthony Adams via unanimous decision. The win earned Kasanganay the fifth decision victory of his professional career along with a UFC contract. This tar heel hammer may bleed blue but can flash a deep shade of brick red when the cage door closes shut!
