LFA alumni have had a place of prominence throughout Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series time in the spotlight. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a power piston of the hard-nosed heartland looking to speed through LFA lightweights like the changing of a traffic light. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2017 and representing Glory MMA and Fitness, Mike Breeden holds an 8-3 record in 11 professional bouts comprised of seven knockouts and one decision. Breeden appeared on week four during the fourth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020 and has also fought for Bellator MMA, Legacy Fighting Alliance, and Shamrock FC. He has finished seven out of his eight victories in his career thus far as a professional mixed martial artist and has only gone to the scorecards once during his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter so far with that lone win going the distance. The bulk of Breeden’s wins during his pro career have come inside of three rounds.
In his MMA debut at Bellator 171, he defeated Craig Fairley via TKO in the first round. Breeden also defeated his next two opponents via TKO in Luke Martin and Garrett Wells. Then, he defeated Henry Essley via unanimous decision. At LFA 50 Breeden defeated Craig Eckelberg via TKO in the first round. He defeated Henry Lindsey via TKO in round one. Breeden defeated Chel-Erwin Davis via TKO in the third round at LFA 67 to earn two wins in a row with LFA.
At LFA 77, he knocked out Brandon Jenkins in round three. The win earned Breeden the seventh knockout victory of his professional career along with win number three under the LFA banner. With seven knockouts in eight wins, this tiger knows to deliver the power and cash some checks when entering into battle to punch the timeclock to earn cold hard cash!
