LFA and the UFC have been seemingly linked at the hip since their debut on AXS TV with LFA 1 in 2017 with many alumni making the leap to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series or Bellator MMA. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a green-eyed viper whose mean streak has her poised to strike in a decade of certain darkness. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2013 and representing Black House MMA, Tabatha Ricci owns an undefeated 3-0 record as a professional comprised of two decisions and one submission. Ricci competed on the regional circuit in her home nation of Brazil prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 90 in September 2020. She is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. Ricci has made it on to the scorecards twice in her career as a pro-MMA fighter with both of those wins going the full distance and has finished one of her three victories with a single first-round finish in her time thus far as a professional mixed martial artist.
In her MMA debut at FMC 1, she faced Danielle Cunha and went on to submit her in the first round via armbar to pick up her first submission win as a professional. Ricci defeated another Brazilian in Graziele Ricotta via unanimous decision at Brazilian Fighting Championship 4.
In her promotional debut under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 90 during the second phase of the promotion’s 2020 return, she defeated the debuting Kelsey Arnesen via unanimous decision. The victory earned Ricci the second decision win of her professional career along with victory number one under the LFA banner. On the ground or standing and trading in the pocket on the feet, Ricci stands ready to deliver a potent poisonous venom when she clamps and chows down on unexpected prey!
