For three consecutive nights in October of this year, Cage Warriors once again experienced a moment of shining glory to set the UK MMA scene back on the rails with a second showing known as the trilogy strikes back set for three more nights at York Hall in December. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an emerald firebreather ready to set the Cage Warriors lightweight ranks alight with an explosive cocktail of young gun youth and skilful bravado. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2019 and representing Pedro Bessa BJJ Cork, John Mitchell owns an unblemished 2-0 record as a professional comprised of one submission and one decision. Mitchell has spent the whole of his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter thus far with Cage Warriors. He is currently 2-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors with a single first-round finish. Mitchell has gone the distance once in his pro career with that lone win going the full three rounds over a 15-minute period.

In his professional and promotional debut at Cage Warriors 110, he faced Eric Nolan and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision to pick up his first decision win as a professional. Then on the first night of the Cage Warriors trilogy at Cage Warriors 114, Mitchell submitted Alan Brykalski via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Mitchell the first submission win of his professional career. He also picked up back to back victories under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. You better be on your guard when approaching the den of this dragon or otherwise you will suffer the burning torment of a severe scorching!
