CES MMA is the gold standard for the MMA scene in the northeastern United States. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a Beantown blazer painting the northeast an explosive shade of red with one round and done arsenal of strength. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2019 and representing Lauzon Mixed Martial Arts, Connor Matthews holds an unbeaten 3-0 record as a professional comprised of two submissions and one knockout. Matthews fought for Cage Titans prior to debuting under the CES MMA banner at CES MMA 61 in October 2020. He has gone on to earn a finish in all three of his victories thus far in his career as a pro-MMA fighter with three first-round finishes. Matthews is currently 1-0 under the banner of CES MMA and has yet to see the scorecards in his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist.

In his MMA debut at Cage Titans 45, he faced Stacy Anderson and went on to knock him out in the first round to earn his first knockout win as a professional. For his second appearance with Cage Titans at Cage Titans 47 Matthews tapped out Rob Fuller in the first round via neck crank to secure back to back victories with Cage Titans.

Then in his promotional debut with CES MMA at CES MMA 61 in the promotion’s second event of the decade, he submitted Joshua Marer via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Matthews the second submission win of his professional career along with his first victory under the banner of CES MMA. At 3-0 with all three of his wins not having made it out of the opening round. Matthews is one prospect who knows how to get the blood pouring out like a busted and broken pipe!
