CFFC is the top dog in terms of making a name for yourself on the eastern coast. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a devilish dragon breathing fire as Cage Fury Fighting Championships top heat hurlers at 170 pounds. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2017 and representing Team Tiger Schulmann, Solomon Renfro owns an undefeated 6-0 record as a professional comprised of five decisions and one submission. Renfro has spent the bulk of his career as a pro-MMA fighter with Cage Fury Fighting Championships with a single first-round finish and has made it on to the scorecards five times in his tenure as a professional mixed martial artist thus far with all five of those victories receiving the full three-round treatment over a period of 15 minutes. Renfro has finished one of his six wins with that finish coming before the close of the first round.
In his MMA debut at CFFC 66, he faced Paul Sims and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Renfro also defeated Andres Velasquez via unanimous decision at CFFC 68. Then in his third appearance with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 70, he defeated Scott Noble via split decision. Renfro defeated Eric Roncoroni via unanimous decision in the main event of Maverick MMA 8. At CFFC 77, he defeated Eugene Aubry via split decision to pick up his fifth decision win as a professional.
For his next outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 82, Renfro submitted Robert Gidron via anaconda choke in the first round. The victory earned Renfro the first submission victory of his professional career and also picked up his only first-round-finish in the process. At 23 years young, getting into a firefight with this east coast dragon would be the equivalent of lighting a match and watching it burn everything in its path!
