Across The Pond Profile: Sherrard Blackledge

Earning respect and showing out in front of the masses are two things that MMA fighters covet regardless of rank and position within the pecking order. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a sin city viper of the heat ready to roll the dice and continue his golden streak of luck. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2018 and representing Syndicate Mixed Martial Arts under the skilled steerage of head coach John Wood, Sherrard Blackledge owns an undefeated 5-0 record as a professional comprised of three decisions and two knockoutsBlackledge appeared on week six during season four of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020 and has finished two of his five victories in his time thus far as a pro-MMA fighter with a single first-round finish. He has made it on to the scorecards three times during his pro career with all three of those wins going the distance winning unanimously all three times. Blackledge has also fought for numerous promotions across the United States including Island Fights, C3 Fights, and Final Fight Championship.

In his MMA debut at Final Fight Championship 33, he defeated Jordan Hayes Christensen via unanimous decision. Blackledge knocked out Alvin Davis in the first round at Island Fights 54. Then at Final Fight Championship 35, he defeated Brandon Olson via TKO in round two to pick up his second knockout victory as a professional.  At C3 Fights 48, Blackledge defeated Eduardo Peralta via unanimous decision.

In the co-main event of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week six of season four, he defeated Cameron Church via unanimous decision. The victory earned Blackledge the third decision win of his professional career. With multiple Syndicate MMA representatives now in the big show, Blackledge is the latest bull set to charge through the door like a battering ram!
