Across The Pond Profile: Nick Maximov

Being in Legacy Fighting Alliance has given rise to many of the UFC‘S top up and comers across multiple divisions. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an eagle of the sun and sand flying upward as one of the golden gates at light heavyweight. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2018 and representing Nick Diaz Academy, Nick Maximov holds an undefeated 6-0 record as a professional comprised of three submissions, two knockouts, and one decision. Maximov appeared on week 10 during the fourth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020 and has fought for several other promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished five out of his six victories in his career thus far as a pro-MMA fighter with two first-round finishes. He has gone to the scorecards just once in his time as a professional mixed martial artist so far.

In his MMA debut at KOTC Terminal Velocity, he defeated Nick Piecuch via TKO in the first round. Maximov submitted Bruno Casillas in the second round via kimura at Hard Fought Championships 1. He defeated William Hope via TKO in round one at Iron Pit Promotions High Desert Brawl 14. Then at KOTC Return to Order, Maximov tapped out Robert Allensworth via rear-naked choke in the first round. For his only outing under the LFA banner at LFA 91, he submitted Johnny James Jr via rear-naked choke in round two to earn his third submission win as a professional.

in the co-main event of DWTNCS week 10 of season four, Maximov defeated Oscar Cota via unanimous decision. The victory earned Maximov the first decision win of his professional career along with win number six to begin his journey in the pro ranks. With five finishes in six wins and an unbeaten streak, Maximov is like a sharpened knife cutting through a blocked barrier!
