The sport of MMA is a marathon to the finish line with various hurdles you have to outrun at points in the race to make it across safely to the other side. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a bear-like sentry standing guard over the LFA flyweight ranks with the resolve of a soldier standing at attention. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2018 and representing Team Oyama, Lisa Mauldin owns a 4-2 record in six bouts as a professional comprised of three decisions and one submission. Mauldin has spent the majority of her career as a pro-MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance and has gone to the scorecards three times over the course of her journey as a professional mixed martial artist with all three of those victories going the full distance over a duration of three rounds. Mauldin has finished one out of her four wins with a single first-round finish. She is currently 2-1 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In her MMA debut, she faced Amanda Jones and went on to defeat her via split decision. Mauldin submitted Sadie Hubbard via rear-naked choke at California Cage Wars 6. Then in her promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 66, she defeated Katylin Neil via a split decision to pick up her first victory under the LFA banner.

For her third outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 96, Mauldin defeated Mitzi Merry via a unanimous decision. The victory earned Mauldin the third decision win of her professional career. She also picked up victory number two under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. Hard-nosed and tactically precise, Mauldin is one fighter who always gets back up on the horse to ride again stronger than ever despite less than ideal circumstances in this trying year!
