In the world of MMA, there is beauty beneath the blood and gore. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a six stared sharpshooter showing LFA his pinpoint marksmanship when he paints a picture. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing SFS MMA, Joseph Holmes holds a 3-1 record in four professional bouts comprised of two submissions and one knockout. Holmes has earned a finish in all three of his wins with two first-round finishes in his time thus far as a pro-MMA fighter. He fought for Bellator MMA prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance in December 2020 at LFA 96. Holmes is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has yet to make it on to the scorecards during his career as a professional mixed martial artist so far. The majority of Holmes’s wins during his pro career have come within the first two rounds of the fight. He has yet to make it past the second round during his time in the professional ranks.
In his second and final appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 224, he faced Kona Olivera and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the second round. Holmes also tapped out Tyler Jones in round one at Peak Fighting 5 The Gaunlet to pick up his second submission win as a professional.
Then in his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 96, he defeated Ryan Lenninger via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Holmes the first knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. With brutal instincts in terms of finishing foes, Homes is like a black powder bomb that is set to explode at just the right moment!
