Then at Combate Americas Tahoe, she defeated Felisha Magallan via unanimous decision. Godinez defeated Lindsay Garbatt via unanimous decision at BTC 8 Eliminator.
In the main event of LFA 94, she defeated submission specialist Vanessa Demopoulos via a majority decision. The victory earned Godinez the fourth decision win of her professional career. She also became the Legacy Fighting Alliance strawweight champion in the process.
