Amanda Nunes vs Megan Anderson slated for March 6th

‘The Lioness’ Amanda Nunes will look to defend her featherweight title against Megan Anderson on March 6th. The pair were originally set to meet at UFC 256, but Nunes pulled out of the bout due to injury.

Nunes last stepped into the octagon in July where she defended her title against Felicia Spencer via unanimous decision. Nunes’ MMA record is 20-4.

Anderson’s last fight come in February where she knocked out Norma Dumont Viana to earn Performance of the Night. Anderson’s MMA record stands at 11-4.

In other UFC news, Nina Ansaroff, Nunes’ wife, looks to make a return to action with a possible fight against BJJ specialist Mackenzie Dern. Ansaroff last fought in June of 2019 where she lost a unanimous decision to Tatiana Suarez.

Dern is currently on a three-fight win streak after winning her last fight against Virna Jandiroba at UFC 256.
