When a member of a fighting family takes up MMA, it marks the beginning of a bloodline that will carry the torch once it becomes their turn to enter the cage. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a falcon of the bluegrass whose sharp ground skills have opponents going airborne. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2012 and representing Louisville Combat Academy, Isaiah Ferguson owns an 8-2 record through 10 professional bouts comprised of six submissions, one knockout, and one decision. Ferguson has spent the bulk of his career as a pro-MMA fighter with HR MMA and has earned a finish in seven out of his eight victories with six -first-round finishes and has only made it onto the scorecards once.

In his MMA debut at HR MMA 43, he submitted Tyrelle Olding via arm-triangle choke in the first round. Ferguson defeated Dusty Gibbs via TKO in round one at HR MMA 48. to earn the only knockout win of his pro career so far. He submitted his next two opponents in Derik Byrd and Nathan Dailey. Then at HR MMA 60, Ferguson tapped out Brian Stevens in the first round via rear-naked choke. He submitted Jeremy Myers in round two at HR MMA 65. At HR MMA 70, Ferguson tapped out James Douglas Ballinger via rear-naked choke in the first round to pick up his sixth submission victory as a professional.

At HR MMA 110, he defeated Justin King via unanimous decision. The victory earned Ferguson the first decision win of his professional career. At 8-2 with seven finishes, Ferguson is like a panther with piercing claws of steel that will dig deep into a foe’s flesh once this hawk-like ground hunter takes flight into the wild blue skies to patrol the air and turn it into a no-fly zone!
