in the expansive world of Mixed Martial Arts, reinvention can be a vital tool in reaching the next rung of the ladder like a key unlocking a vault of untapped fury. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a red river battle steed ready to rampage and silence the doubters and ride with resounding determination and fire in her soul at XFC Young Guns 1 on March 27 from the FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2017 and representing American Elite MMA, Kristina Williams owns a 3-3 record through six professional bouts comprised of two decisions and one knockout. Williams fought for Bellator MMA and has finished one out of her three victories during her time as a pro-MMA fighter thus far. She has made it onto the scorecards twice over the course of her journey as a professional mixed martial artist, winning via decision in both instances. The only finish during her time in the professional MMA ranks has come in the second round.

In her professional MMA debut at Bellator 185, she faced Heather Hardy and went on to defeat her via TKO in the second round. Williams defeated Emily Ducote via a split decision at Bellator 195 to earn back-to-back wins with Bellator MMA Then in her fourth appearance with the promotion at Bellator 210, she defeated Bruna Ellen of Brazil via unanimous decision. The victory earned Williams the second decision win of her professional career. She also picked up victory number three under the banner of Bellator MMA in the process.

At XFC Young Guns 1 on March 27, she will face Invicta Fighting Championships alumni Helen Lucero in a flyweight affair. Other fighters that are set to showcase on young guns 1 include Austin Bashi and submission specialist and LFA veteran Braden Smith. Good luck Kristina!
