A huge congratulations to the man Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley on achieving his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
The UK’s own MMA legend swapped his brown belt for Faixa Preta and was awarded it from coach Lee Bown of Alliance Derby at Spirit Dojo Legacy.
Posting on his Instagram earlier today Paul had this to say,
“Perfection is unattainable, therefore I seek perfection, So my journey is endless” Been working away on all aspects of martial arts, Put in a solid session today, with the focus of returning to action with @bellatormma in April, 5 x 5min rounds padwork/grappling, Decent work, Getting sharper, but was caught off guard by this…..Being awarded my blackbelt by @leebownbjj headcoach/owner of @alliance_derby , who has dedicated a lot of time over the last 7 years, helping me progress with Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Thank you.
