One of Uzbekistan’s finest fighters was almost forced to postpone his BRAVE CF debut. Nursulton Ruziboev was set to face off against Andreas Stahl at next week’s BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination, but the Swede was forced to drop out due to injury. Enter Ibrahim Mane, who saved the day and will step up on five days’ notice to take on Ruziboev.
Ibrahim Mane is coming off a dominating victory over David Jacobsson at BRAVE CF 42, in which he announced himself in the Super Welterweight division. With a record of 8 wins and three losses, ‘’Ibra Kumite’’ will look to begin a win streak and gatecrash the top of the stacked Super Welterweight division, even on short notice.
For Nursulton, the chance to stay on the card was too much to waste as he takes a dangerous opponent on short notice himself. Ruziboev has been earmarked as one of the Super Welterweight divisions’ top new signings and will be eager to showcase his skills on a global platform after an extensive career in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination will be headlined by a pivotal Lightweight bout as Rolando Dy, the biggest name in Filipino MMA, takes on the Kyrgyzstani hero Abdisalam Kubanychbek. The winner is guaranteed a title shot against whoever comes out on top between Amin Ayoub and Ahmed Amir, who face each other for Ayoub’s crown at BRAVE CF 50, on April 1st.
