Former middleweight title contender Jamie “Young Gun” Richardson (9-6) will look to bounce back from his loss to champion Nathias Frederick with a win over Cage Warriors newcomer, Kent Kauppinen.
Kauppinen (12-6) comes into the promotion with a proven finishing record, having won by knockout nine times and by submission three times.
Richardson has a solid record as well, having won three of his last four fights, and with eight of his nine wins coming via KO.
“I’m excited to announce this main event fight between two proven knockout artists. It’s sure to bring the first event of THE TRILOGY to an explosive conclusion,” said Cage Warriors President, Graham Boylan.
In the co-main event, Paul Hughes will look to bounce back from a close loss to Jordan Vucenic at CW119 in a fight of the year contender, as he takes on undefeated prospect James Hendin.
Hughes (6-1) has finished all six of his wins evenly across submissions and knockouts, and with a win here will push him back into title contention.
Hendin (5-0) also wants that featherweight title, and after a years hiatus, and will be keen to showcase his skills and show why he feels he is the best featherweight in Cage Warriors.
Also in action, two unbeaten middleweight prospects, Will Currie (5-0) and Christian Duncan (2-0) will square off.
The lightweight division will also be in action at CW120, as Kieran Lister (7-1) and Decky McAleenan (7-3) go head-to-head, while Michal Figlak (4-0) will look to extend his unbeaten record against Steven “Clocky T” Hooper (7-3).
The main card can be viewed from 9pm GMT on UFC Fight Pass and Cage Warriors’ global broadcasting partners, while the prelims get started at 7:15pm GMT exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
