For stars on the steady rise, Legacy Fighting Alliance is a one-way ticket to stardom. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a stallion of the arid plains looking to stampede the opposition with the fierceness of an untamed bull as LFA’s youth movement charges ahead into the morning dawn of the rising sun for the foreseeable future and beyond as the world awakens from it’s darkened slumber.  A professional mixed martial artist since November 2019 and representing McSweeney Martial Arts, Obinwa Ikebunna holds a 2-1 record through three professional bouts comprised of one submission and one knockout. Ikebunna has earned a finish in both of his wins with two first-round finishes during his journey as a pro-MMA fighter so far. He has yet to make it out of the opening round in the professional ranks and is currently 1-1 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance with one finish under his belt. Each of Ikebunna’s victories during his pro career has come in the span of a single round with a timeframe of five minutes or less.

In his MMA debut at Teofista Fight for the Troops, he faced Lee Hagel and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round to earn the only knockout victory of his pro career thus far. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 98, he tapped out Daniel Olajiga in the first round via armbar. The victory earned Ikebunna the first submission win of his professional career along with back-to-back first-round finishes. He also picked up win number one under the LFA banner in the process. Despite only being three fights into his MMA journey, the bullish nature of this six-star stallion burns as fierce as the sun’s punishing rays with not a spot of cooling shade in sight!
