A professional mixed martial artist since December 2017 and representing Team 515, Steven Jones owns an 8-2 record through 10 professional bouts comprised of four knockouts and four decisions. Jones has fought for several promotions over the course of his professional journey including American Kombat Alliance and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has finished four out of his eight victories over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far. Jones has gone to the scorecards four times during his time in the professional MMA ranks.

In his MMA debut at AKA rite of passage 2, he knocked out Raymond Knight in the first round. Jones also defeated his next two foes in Josh Davila and Romalice Thompson. He defeated Montrell James via TKO in round one at AKA rite of passage 8. Then in his second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 78, Jones defeated Mario Nelson via TKO in the second round. He defeated Christopher Anthony via unanimous decision at AKA rite of passage 11. At LFA 89, Jones defeated Tyler Ray via a split decision.

He defeated Joshua Lee via unanimous decision at AKA rite of passage 12. The win earned Jones the fourth decision victory of his professional career.
