South Dakota was the first state to offer safe haven to Legacy Fighting Alliance in 2020 when the global MMA pipeline burst and brought with it a wave of relief to the distressed minds of the world. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Diamondhead of oppressive heat looking to scorch the competition with a full-scale assault in the main event of LFA 107 on May 14. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2014 and representing Seige MMA, Kamuela Kirk owns a 10-4 record through 14 professional contests comprised of six submissions and four knockouts. Kirk has fought for various promotions over the course of his journey including Legacy Fighting Alliance and also appeared on week five during the third season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019. He has finished 100 percent of his victories during his time in the professional ranks.
In his MMA debut at Rage in the Cage 170, he submitted Jose Carbajal via triangle choke in the first round. Kirk also tapped out his next two opponents in Evan DeLong and Cody Huard. He defeated Edgar Escarrega via TKO in the first round at BFC 1. Kirk defeated his next three foes that included wins over Brandon Trujillo and Collin Dunkley. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 44, he submitted Borah Karmo in the first round via rear-naked choke. Kirk tapped out Kevin Croom via triangle choke in the first round at LFA 53. At LFA 97, he defeated Brazil’s Guilherme Santos via TKO in round one. The victory earned Kirk the fourth knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number three under the LFA banner in the process.
In the main event of LFA 107 on May 14, he will take on Daniel Swain in an all fireworks encounter at featherweight between two of the most graduates of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. Good luck Kamuela!
