Following the success of the maiden Cage Warriors trilogy and the trilogy strikes back, Cage Warriors will once again grace London’s York Hall with a triple header of mouthwatering action that will have the faithful standing at attention. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a scorpion of terror looking to leave the Cage Warriors middleweight ranks spellbound at Cage Warriors 124 on June 25. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2009 and representing Scorpion Kickboxing, Kent Kauppinen owns a 13-6 record through 19 professional contests comprised of nine knockouts, three submissions, and one decision. Kauppinen has fought for numerous promotions across Europe including Cage Warriors and has finished 12 out of his 13 victories during his journey as a pro-MMA fighter thus far. He is currently 1-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors. Kauppinen has gone to the scorecards once during his pro career, winning via decision across the board in that instance.

In his MMA debut, he defeated Steve McDonald via TKO in the first round. Kauppinen also defeated his next three foes that included wins over Paul Rocha and Wesley Lucas. Then at Pheonix Fight Night 25, he knocked out Alex Thorne in the first round. Kauppinen defeated his next five opponents that included victories over Shawn Lomas and Brad Watchorn. Then in the main event of Bellator 211, he knocked out UFC veteran Alessio Sakara in the first round. Kauppinen submitted Andy Manzolo via forearm choke in round one at Bellator London to earn his third submission win as a professional.

In the main event of Cage Warriors 120, he defeated Jamie Richardson via unanimous decision. The victory earned Kauppinen the first decision win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. On June 25 at Cage Warriors 124, he will face Justin Moore in a middleweight encounter. Good luck Kent!
