Suffering your first pro loss is a sign of growth and feeds a fighter’s hunger to cleanse themselves of the bitter sting. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a dragon of dangerous flames looking to leave his first defeat in the dust and make it a distant memory at Cage Warriors 124 on June 25. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2019 and representing The MAT Academy, Ben Ellis holds a 3-1 record through four professional bouts comprised of two knockouts and one decision. Ellis has spent his entire tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Cage Warriors so far, with two finishes under his belt in four appearances. Ellis is currently 3-1 under the banner of Cage Warriors with two first-round finishes. He has only been to the scorecards once in his pro career, sweeping the scorecards across the board on that occasion.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 104, he faced Brad Evans and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Ellis also defeated Rafael Skouras via TKO in round one in his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 108 to pick up his second knockout win as a professional along with back-to-back victories with Cage Warriors.

Then in his third outing with Cage Warriors as part of the preliminary portion on the second night of the trilogy strikes back at Cage Warriors 118, he defeated Kingsley Crawford via unanimous decision. The victory earned Ellis the first decision win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number three under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. At Cage Warriors 124 on June 25, he will face Jordan Barton in an affair at featherweight. Good luck Ben!
