The rebirth of Scottish MMA was on full display at the latest Cage Warriors trilogy of events. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a master Sargent of battle determined to roll out the marching orders as he readies a blitzkrieg on the opposition at 155 pounds. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2016 and representing Higher Level Martial Arts under head coach James Doolan, Stevie Mcintosh owns a 7-2-1 record in nine professional bouts comprised of four knockouts, three submissions, and a no contest. Mcintosh competed on the regional scene in his home nation of Scotland prior to making his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 117 in December 2020. He has finished all seven of his victories during his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far. Mcintosh is currently 1-1 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with one finish under his belt for the promotion.
In his professional MMA debut at On Top Frontline, he defeated Wes O’ Neill via TKO in the second round. Mcintosh also defeated his next two foes via TKO in Isidoro Sanchez and Scott Richards. Then in the co-main event of Budo Fighting Championships 30, he defeated Matthew Thomas via TKO in the first round. Mcintosh submitted Robert Nystrom via rear-naked choke at On Top Future Stars. At On Top 23, he tapped out Thibault Ropp in the second round.
In his second appearance with Cage Warriors on the third and final night of the trilogy part four at Cage Warriors 125, he submitted Decky McAleenan in the second round via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Mcintosh the third submission win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. With a perfect finishing rate, Mcintosh’s quest for order will have the lightweight division in tip-top shape!
