Errol Spence Jr and Manny Pacquiao started their face-to-face encounter on Sunday for their title fight on August 21st.

The 42-year-old veteran, Pacquiao, challenges undefeated, unified champion Errol Spence (31 years old) after beating, yet another, undefeated fighter Keith Thurman.

“There was a lot of opportunities to fight opponents much easier compared to Errol Spence. I want to give a good fight to the fans and I want a real fight.” Pacquiao.

Errol Spence will be the first southpaw Pacquiao has fought in 13 years, being David Diaz at lightweight. It has also been 6 years since Errol Spence has gone against a southpaw, stating training camp for him he’s not doing training any different to prepare for the unorthodox Pacquiao.

High praise came from Pacquiao stating that Errol Spence “doesn’t need any advice from Mayweather, I believe Errol is better than him.”

Throughout a very calm and polite press conference, the most any of the fighters gave about what they will do on the night of the fight is, “we’ll see in the ring.”

It is without a doubt this fight will be interesting to watch, with the ageing Pacquiao going against the new champion and top 10 pound-for-pounder, Errol Spence Jr.
