The first four Cage Warriors bubble trilogies have shown the rest of the world that there can be a light amongst the darkness. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a dragon of the valley ready to put opponents to the torch in Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2016 and representing Chris Rees Academy, Rory Evans owns a 4-3 record through seven professional bouts comprised of two submissions, one knockout, and one decision. Evans has finished three out of his four wins during his time as a pro-MMA fighter so far. He is currently 2-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with two first-round finishes under his belt in two appearances with the promotion. Evans has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career.
In his MMA debut, he submitted Julien Bouteix via rear-naked choke in the first round. Evans defeated Jason Jenkins via a unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision victory as a professional. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 108, he tapped out Brad Evans in the first round via rear-naked choke.
In his second appearance with Cage Warriors during the opening night of the trilogy part four at Cage Warriors 123, he defeated the debuting Jimmy Fell via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Evans the first knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. With skills as sharp as a razor blade, Evans is one dragon that can inflict blistering burns if foes get too close to the flame!
