Lombardo defeated his next three foes that included victories overย Brandon Martinย andย Troy Jenkins.ย At AKA Rite of Passage 9, he tapped outย Justin Thornton in the first round via arm-triangle choke. Lombardo defeatedย Jose Caceres via unanimous decision in the main event of Road to M1 Global USA 4.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week seven of season four, he defeatedย Korey Kuppeย via unanimous decision. The victory earned Lombardo the fifth decision win of his professional career.
